ADOPT ~ a ~ SPOT
Our spot is the 90 foot triangle at the bottom of Bleachery Hill, right where Lisbon and Canal Streets meet. Viola Circle is maintaining the spot. Contact Mary L. or Kathy W. to get involved.
| Phase 1 - major weeding & assessment. Ellie P., Betty P., and Kathy W. pulled out the dandelions, spiky thistle, long grass, and most of the bindweed. Next phase will be a busy one! We will add annuals; thin back the milkweed to uncover the meadow sage and mums that are already there; prune the barberries to make more room for the pink spirea; and figure out the Mystery Plant so we can decide whether to pull it or not.
